The hotel is perfectly located right in the center close to the central train station and the Sophienhof shopping mall, right on the pedestrian shopping street and a stone throw from the Wunderino Arena, which was the purpose of my stay, as I was attending a concert there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast on the 10th floor was excellent with a great view of the city. There was free coffee in the lobby and a large, complementary bottle of sparkling water in the room.

The hotel's current rating is definitely underrated because I liked absolutely everything about this hotel! I'll give it 9 out of 9! The hotel offers magnificent view of Kiel town centre and its beautiful port. And you get to enjoy the view because all walls in your room are made of glass. The room I've got was very spacious, and I could enjoy the view by just laying on the bed. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty and there was a great variety to choose from. Since it's located in the city center, there are dozens restaurants nearby so choosing what to eat and where to go will never be a problem. Anyway, I highly recommend this hotel and I will gladly return there again.

a great hotel with a brilliant view. staff were generally friendly, all spoke English. I asked to keep my bike secure and they let me use the garage downstairs. clean room with good amenities (plugs, desk, chair, 2 bedside tables)

It had the most amazing location. We were right in the city centre . The room was large and comfortable and had amazing huge windows that offered an amazing view over the entire. We also had both a bathtub and a shower which was great and there was a huge window in front of the bath as well . It felt like I was in a movie just taking a bath and looking over the city from my huge windows The staff was also incredible and very friendly . they helped us a lot

It was a good stay for one night, single bed in a single room. Nothing more nothing less. The hotel can’t be blamed for noise outside window, but it’s located at a busy street. But the stay was good, personnel was good, and the room was okay. A bit outdated bathroom and shower, but all is good in the hood!

Great location and view, desk is manned 24/7, there is free coffee in the lobby. Staff are friendly and leave you in peace.

The Astor provides a nice stay. I am especially satisfied with their cleanliness. The staff is also super friendly. :)

I hadn't enough time to stay so I cannot rate more than I had done, because I came for medical reason and was short stayed, maybe during Xmas when I come with my family
